It is good to have friends! and to have their support for your work! When writing my chapter, "The 5 As to Authenticty" for the anthology, "The Missing Piece: A Transformational Journey, I had no idea of who I might ask to write recommendations. When I received word that my colleagues of Unite Women.org had placed the book on their recommendation list, I was very happy. It was totally unexpected and veru much appreciated! "The amazing souls within this book have come together to share their amazing stories with the world. They are all living proof that there is life after traumatic events and that you can find those missing pieces you need to move forward again in life."                                      --Jan, Unite Women Florida this is the link to the recommendation: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/756909366 here is the link to the Unite Women Recommended Reading List : http://www.unitewomen.org/shop-the-org/ click here to Buy The Mis

Debra SeS, "Be THAT Guy!!"

A new public health approach to fighting violence in all its forms against women is being promoted by NASCAR to its  fans via its Jumbotron with an animation delivering this message,  “#BeThatGuy. Stop violence against women in its tracks.” This is awesome! It is every anti-violence against women  advocates' dream, to have the sports industry working to prevent and eliminate this violence. Using animation, or cartoons, if you prefer, is a very engaging method to catch the eye, and the attention, of a captive audience, such as those who are watching car races!  and here is the  video http://youtu.be/unwz9169Sms The video was a collaboration between   Grazie Media, a Toronto-based business that programs public service announcements on Jumbotrons for U.S. sporting events and  Breakthrough ,  a global leader, says in  its own words, “use(s) the power of arts, media, pop culture, and community mobilization” to get men to discourage other men’s violence.  Mallika Dutt ,

International Bestselling Author! The Missing Piece: A Transformational Journey on the amazon.com bestseller list!!

I cannot believe it - in one day!! This is truly amazing to me... yesterday I was an international author, and today "International Bestselling Author" Remember when you were a child, you have a long list of career aspirations for  adulthood?? Being a writer was not even on my list! Let alone, achieving this level of recognition!! So, how did I get to this juncture in my life? Reading has been a lifelong love for me. As a young child in the 1960s, I suffered many earaches and sore throats, prior to the discovery of the efficacy of penicillin. This impacted my ability to hear. Since reading lips was difficult, I chose to 'bury my nose' (my family constantly teased me with this phrase) a book at all times - this was my excuse for not hearing what people were saying to me. The advent of penicillin saved my hearing. With much scarring left on my eardrums and still being plagued by earaches, even as an adult,  minor deafness is one of my health concerns.

Kate is located in United Kingdom and I am in Washington State USA!  Darn it - Kate's audio did not work properly, so you cannot hear her brilliant repartee, however, my spoken part will give you a good idea of the "why" we did this book as a collaborative masterpiece! Check out my book The Missing Piece: A Transformational Journe y – It Could Change your Life! Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Collaborators ; I recently went through an incredible experience that I need to share with everyone I know! I think we can agree that everyone goes through hard times in life – I have done so myself. As the saying goes, at one time I was so down, there was no place to go but up! I was discussing this phenomenon with my friend and colleague, Kate Gardner, and discovered we’d had very similar experiences. Wondering whether there were other women out there who had gone through hardships – and prevailed – gave rise to   The Missing Piece . I joined with a group of women to collaborate on writing about building your life back up from its very foundations, recapturing happiness and productivity. It has been inspiring to see how many ways there are to rebuild! And as a result of this experience, now I can state that I am an Internationally
